Replaced all 1m² rooflights in 8000m² factory unit with 1m x 4m, the aim as above was to cease using overhead lighting during daylight hours.

Replaced rooflights in open plan office area coupled with the introduction of sun pipes to increase natural light and again to reduce the use of overhead lighting.

Re-configured office space, leading to the removal of 45% of total radiators.

Future Environmental Activity

Investment in an energy management system to provide a high degree of accuracy in controlling temperature outflows to within 0.2 degrees centigrade. We have calculated a targeted saving of 35% in KWh within the Factory and the Warehouse.

We are planning to have the energy management system installed by the end of 2010.
